“November 2007 Carlene Edwards, a young textile designer inaugurates PrintLab, imbuing it with her creativity and desire to express herself. Carlene draws her inspiration from the urban environment: signs, juxtaposed lights and colours, road and subway maps, traces of oil left on the asphalt, graffiti and all the various expressions of street art. Her Spring/Summer 2009 collection made a very successful debut at Premiere Vision in Paris in February 2008. In September the London designer displayed her most recent work at Premiere Vision: the Autumn/Winter 2009-10 collection. A year of profitable cooperation thus came to an end and Carlene Edwards found herself with an array of interesting career prospects with the big names in international fashion.”
